Description: Responsible for the management and strategic planning of clinical pharmacy services to ensure the quality of pharmacy technology and services. Performs as the designated Pharmacist in Charge and is responsible for compliance with all applicable laws & regulations for the practice of pharmacy. Facilitates development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost-effective drug therapies. Develops standards & testing procedures that meet the needs of patients and physicians.
Job Requirements:
- Licensed CA State Pharmacist in Good Standing with the Board of Pharmacy
- 2+ to 5 years of experience Management Experience Required
- Minimum Education - PharmD Only
Preferred Qualifications:
- PGY1 Residency
- Ability to apply sound judgment in ambiguous situations and effectively manage change
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystem
- Ability to read and correctly interpret complex regulations, contracts and policies
- Financial management and analysis skills consistent with budgetary responsibilities
