Description: Full time Staff Pharmacist Pediatrico Hospital, Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico
Description: As a staff pharmacist at Pediatrico Hospital, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy. This position is scheduled 40 hours per week from 11am-7:30pm with a weekend rotation. Facility: University Pediatric Hospital, part of the Department of Health Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, is the leading institution in the country dedicated exclusively to providing medical services to children in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. Located in the Rio Piedras Medical Center, University Children's Hospital consists of three connected buildings. Tower A, the oldest, contains the Emergency Room, dental clinics, the Hereditary Disease Program and administrative offices. Building C houses the outpatient clinics, services to patients with mental and developmental disabilities and clinical oncology services. The six floor Tower B consists of 54 Pediatrics beds, 15 Oncology beds, 30 Surgery beds, 10 Pediatric Intensive beds, 49 Neonatal Intensive beds and 3 bone marrow transplant beds, in addition to the Renal Unit.
