Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator position available in Jefferson City, MO
Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator will champion the principles of pharmaceutical care in drug therapy management by being responsible for the following:
-Planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring the performance of clinical pharmacy activities.
-Provide clinical/drug information to healthcare professionals and patients
-Development and execution of drug utilization reviews
-Evaluation of requests for addition to the formulary
-Evaluates clinical skills of pharmacists and provides performance review input for staff development.
-An active member of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee
-Participate in the selection and hiring of pharmacists
-Precepts and coordinates the precepting of pharmacy students
-Acting as staff pharmacist when deemed necessary by the Director of Pharmacy
-Other duties as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy
