Description: You’ll have a full support team available to you, from a Regional VP, Regional Clinical Director, and 340B Specialist to a Regulatory Specialist, Drug Information Specialist, and more. We’ll rely on you to oversee all pharmacy operations, including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and State and Federal laws. You’ll recommend innovations in the practice and function of the hospital pharmacy to Administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs. As the Director of Pharmacy at Adena Regional Medical Center, you will supervise a pharmacy team including an outpatient Pharmacy Manager, and inpatient Clinical Manager, as well as Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, an Administrative Assistant and Financial Analyst. In addition, you will oversee the pharmacy in a satellite critical access hospital offsite. As the Director, your primary schedule is Monday-Friday day hours and on call per Joint Commission requirements. · Pharmacy Degree (BS or PharmD) · Must have an OH Pharmacist license in good standing OR be eligible and willing to obtain an OH Pharmacist license · Must have 3-5 years previous hospital pharmacy management experience in 150+ bed hospital · Joint Commission experience preferred · Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns · Ability to work cooperatively with other members of CPS and hospital and pharmacy staff Facility: Adena Regional Medical Center non-profit 263 bed short term acute care hospital with an inpatient, an outpatient employee pharmacy and an oncology pharmacy. The inpatient pharmacy is open 24/7, the outpatient pharmacy is open Monday-Friday 7a-7p and oncology pharmacy from 8a-4:30p. Adena Regional Medical Center provides specialty services including Cardiac Catheterization, Oncology, Behavioral Health, Rehabilitation, Obstetrics and Emergency Room. Management of the pharmacies is outsourced to CPS.
