Full time Clinical Staff Pharmacist
Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, Chicago, IL

Description: You’ll evaluate and interpret orders, compound, and dispense medications according to written orders/prescriptions issued by an authorized prescriber. You will also identify, prevent, assess and resolve medication-related problems to ensure a safe and optimal patient outcome and promote, through criteria based protocols, clinically rational drug therapy and sound pharmaceutical care. This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week primarily day shifts with an every other weekend rotation. This position also rotates working holidays and provides occasional evening or night coverage for vacations.

Qualifications:
• Pharmacy Degree (BS or PharmD)
• IL licensure in good standing
• Minimum 3 years of inpatient pharmacy experience in an acute-care setting or completed PGY1 residency
• Experience using computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems required
