Full-Time Pharmacy Technician
Central Maine Medical Center / Lewiston, ME

Description: As a pharmacy technician at Central Maine Medical Center, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing; and auditing patient records. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements. This position will be primarily days and evenings with rotating weekends.

Qualifications:
- Licensed with the ME Board of Pharmacy
- CPhT certification a plus
- Previous pharmacy technician experience in a hospital
- IV and chemo compounding experience preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills

Facility: The Central Maine Medical Family is an integrated healthcare delivery organization serving central and western Maine. CMMF's acute care facilities include Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Bridgton Hospital, and Rumford Hospital. Other CMMF affiliates provide various outpatient and clinical services and maintain residential care facilities. Management of the pharmacy is outsourced to CPS.
