Director of Pharmacy

Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer for the overall quality of service provided in the Pharmacy, you will be responsible for the procurement, storage, preparation, dispensing, recording, and control of all drugs used in the hospital. The Director exercises a high degree of autonomy in performing job expectations and functions cooperatively with other department directors and hospital personnel to support the mission, the strategic plan, and the goals of the hospital system.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of medications, dosages, compounding, and dispensing at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree in Pharmacy
- Approximately 3-5 years experience
- A current and valid license as a registered pharmacist in the State of California
- Ability to learn and utilize computerized patient care management system.
